...is all well and good. I've stated my views on them a few times (and been shot down by some) and I stand by what I say. However, as fans if we don't like what they say/don't say and what their policies are what do we effectively do? The owners themselves don't give a toss about the fans as they are simply here to make money. They can treat the fans with contempt and they will still get away with it because they don't give a damn about the club/town/community apart from it's money making potential. They can, at the end of the day, walk away and will still not give a toss if they do so. Fans can't do that as they are prisoners of their own loyalty. By complaining, not renewing season tickets etc what is to be gained? Driving the owners away? If so, where is the club if they DO pull out? Very difficult being a Barnsley fan. Greed and avarice of capitalist, distant, unconnected people is making life as a fan quite hard to stomach. I, like some others on here am getting progressively disillusioned by modern football ownership/management but given the current climate I don't know what the answer is. An incoherent rant I know. I suppose I'm just pissed off.
