Haha it wasn't about me or anything but yes I know it was vague as I think the person in question reads the BBS and didn't want to cause them any trouble.

Scheme been extended to June now Martin Lewis is reporting. Suggests expectation restrictions to continue. Would expect it to be extended beyond that to be honest.
Lot of people been refused by employers and getting left with nothing.

Not really much I can add except that some companies are deliberately abusing the system to make money

That is what's known as fraud, and carries severe penalties.

It does but I think that the thinking is with so many companies furloughing staff that to police it and investigate will be almost impossible

I work in the construction industry and a number of contractors have furloughed staff who are now continuing to work. As an example, I've had a quantity surveyor sending me valuations for works completed on site despite hin being furloughed. I've actually asked him over the phone what the hell he's doing and basically he said it's my employer's told me to etc.

Let's start with football clubs, then we can build the list from there. There are a few high profile companies that can be added.

just seen my unions update, we aren't part of the 80% scheme, some workers who's had say cancer, heart conditions or other serious conditions and have used up their full sick pay allowance in the past year or 2 must now either go 12wks unpaid or take a risk and carry on working!
this while the ceo lives abroad in a £2m+ mansion, cutting shareholders dividends, and won't take a pay cut himself
