Anyone else watching? Enjoying the cycling, triathlon men's gymnastics and the rugby 7s so far.

Watched the mens gymnastics and the para-triathlon yesterday. Those flying dismounts from the bikes by blind athletes were certainly interesting...!

Was shocked at Peaty’s race yesterday, even with the recovering from his broken foot. Pleased for Wilby though!

The one and only time I played netball I got a back elbow to the face and had a black eye for 2 weeks. I'm not sure there are fouls...

Ever tried hockey? 'I haven't but a roughty-toughty sporty type friend of mine once did ( playing against 'ladies'). He said never again... they were fearless and stopped at nothing. He reckons he was nearly maimed for life. His exact words were..."The weaker sex? My arse!! Don't make me laugh"

yes, thoroughly enjoying it - looking forward to the Athletics - Duplantis (wow) - Laura Muir etc. - t v coverage is excellent - good to see the para competitions (para stands for parallel) mixed with other competitions rather than separately.

followed the Worlds a couple of weeks ago and only heard of one athlete failing a drug test. Is it right to assume that all sports men and women are 'clean.' ??

p.s. anyone understand the machinations of the Keirin in the Velodrome ?

I’ve played mixed hockey a long time ago. And echo the comments of your mate. The girls made Vinny Jones look like a gentle softie. Had far more bruises than I ever got playing as a rugby forward in the second row

Was there yesterday with the kids - went to the table tennis in the morning then beach volleyball in the afternoon. Recommend people have a look now and see what tickets are going - it's a brilliant atmosphere everywhere and there's stacks of free stuff for kids to do on the Smithfields festival site where the beach volley and basketball stadia are.

Watched the gymnastics and then tried to show my son that I still had the gymnastic ability from my youth.

Very sore this morning. Really enjoying the coverage.

Women's T20 has been good. The other day Australia were 49/5 against India still needing over 100 runs and still won to show again that they are the best team in all of sport. England play South Africa at 11 am.

I’ve currently got the lawn bowls on, think it’s the final from yesterday, it’s been a cracking watch
