Does any one know if a 65mm thick "Stramit" (strawboard) wall is man-enough to carry a standard size wall mounted domestic combi-boiler and what fixings should be used?

Could you maybe ply the wall first with some inch ply then mount the boiler to the board? I’d get some no nails on the ply and get some screws in and you should be fine, you’ll have a decent surface to clip to then too with the ply

You may have to face the ply with cement board.
