The first goal was the fault of Davies for not commanding his six yard box when he can use his hands. But grief inside that six yard box we had seven players close enough to hold hands, so somebody should have stopped it going in. The second goal I blame Lindsay. You could see the ball slowing down trying to reach Davies, so he should have done a simple header to him to pick it up or booted it to row Z.
Some observations of that 1 Thiam does score tap ins 2 Lyndsay should gave dealt with that , he let it bounce too many times in front of him . Indecision imo but was captain advising ? 3. We never say die that bodes well for rest of season imo
Great minds and all that, this is what I put on Twitter earlier when chatting to a mate That’s how I saw it mate, Lindsay should have took charge of situation and put it in row z, he had the ball at his feet and had plenty of chances to clear it
Is it my eyes or from that lob that hit the crossbar,it looked to me that it bounced over the line.Could be wrong.
I thought it was in at the time, but I also had my hood up and my scalf nearly covering my eyes at the time, also somthing not mentioned is did anyone else think Lindsay should’ve been sent off for taking one for the team? I couldn’t believe how much the oxford fans got irritated by the referee only showing a yellow card.... soft southern bas......
Even the first goal Lindsay is yet again stood like a statue while the goalscorer walks past him and jumps to head home. Lindsay looks like he's got no idea he's on a football pitch
He had already dropped it and wasn't in control of the ball. Slow it down to 0.25 in YouTube and you see Davies drop the ball and start falling backwards because he had overcommitted and was trying to go back before their player touches him
