Constant fouling in the first half especially and the clown with the whistle did nothing. Inevitable he would get his cards out later to punish us

Because we fouled them constantly throughout the second half.

We fouled them more than they fouled us. That's a statistic.

Cards come out second half. That's football.

I can’t stand Robins and can’t understand why some of our supporters still clamour for him.

Behave, he's clearly a good manager, he's taken them from League 2 to a decentish championship side, playing nice football and with about 4 quid to spend .

They were shithouses though, screaming at the ref every time one of them chucked themselves over - do agree on that point.

I thought they looked decent today. Put in some excellent crosses in particular but couldn’t put them away.

Not sure how they didn’t have a player booked in the first half though, many of the fouls were very cynical.

Davey is in the top 3 or 4 most successful Barnsley managers of all time, Robins not even in the top 20. Finished 17th one season ffs terrible football to watch. FA Cup Semi final and 3 seasons in the Championship.

With a bigger budget than most BFC managers in recent times too.
He was arrogant and a utter bell end. He's done absolutely nothing since leaving us, didn't last two minutes at Darlington or Hereford.

Coventry were my dark horses for the playoffs this year - I was really impressed when I watched them last season.

Couldn’t disagree more. Never seen a Robins team play out from the back as much. It was us doing the constant fouling & play acting.

I’m all for been a bit biased in favour of your own side (I do it myself) but it’s been ridiculous today on here, Facebook & twitter.

Go through the yellows, every one except Palmer’s is blatant. You can argue Collins just because we don’t know what was said but with all the time wasting he was lucky to stay on the pitch. Both Ben Willians & Morris won free kicks high in the Coventry half by dropping to the floor when they’d over ran the ball. Woodrow was doing his usual play acting again pretending he’d had a Chris Morgan elbow on the half way line.

The only clearly bad decision against us was when O’Hare used his forearm to push Ben Williams over & a foul wasn’t given but luckily nothing came of it.

We tactically fouled & spoiled our way to 3 points today. I’m not complaining, it’s a great 3 points but let’s not pretend it was Coventry doing the cheating or that we were somehow wronged.

We could’ve easily come out of that game on the wrong side of a hammering with the penalty miss & the 3 sitters they missed in the first half.
