Well they are allowed to open as takeaway food is still permitted. Whether they actually do or decide to close to protect the staff and customers is a different question and as I havent been out I have no idea whether there are any open or not
It was the only food not rationed I read the other day because it was classed as not only nutritional but also great for morale
Just been past woody's at monk Bretton and a lady was putting a notice on the shutters. Could have said 2 for the price of one and a pickled egg though, no idea. If I cast my mind back I'm pretty sure the war was exactly that and not a potent virus though
Fresh fish not available here now as fishermen are banned form going out as they cannot keep to the distancing regs when working. Managed to blag a permit form from the local Polizia today to leave he comune to get to the huge frozen fish store a few kilometres given I have high cholesterol had DVT and need to reduce red meat consumption and eat. Drove 15 - 20 minutes each way and saw only three other vehicles on the normally busy road.It was surreal and t like one of those post apocalypse movies you see.
I'm Kettering based but our local closed last week, not sure if that is indicative of the country though
