After Potts' tap in for the second yesterday, almost the entire team ran over in celebration to our fans, in our half. Did anyone else notice skipper Davies making sure one of our players stayed in their half, so they couldn't kick off again? A similar thing happened when Harvey Barnes scored at Hillsborough last season. Good thinking Davies lad.

I was shouting at players. When I saw what was happening. But isn’t there a rule that play can only continue, with x number of players on the pitch. ?.

Further to my reply. Just found the rule that all players must be on the pitch in their own half.(except player taking kick off).Prior to kicking off. Even after a goal. The fa say kicking off outside this rule is a myth.

I thought that meant all the players in the team kicking off, but not sure. Sometimes there's a player off being treated for an injury when a conceding team kicks off anyway. Anyway, I still thought it was quick thinking on Davies' part.

When I read the article. It says basically what Davies did is not uncommon. As it’s been a myth. I was actually glad to here what you said Davies did. I personally was concerned as to what was happening and didn’t notice Davies’s input.
