to go o/t but a legal query. Recent high profile case in New York where jury out for 4/5 days - same sometimes happens here. Presumably there is a disagreement amongst jury members - some finding defendant guilty some not guilty some 'don't knows.' Is it then a case of jury members trying to persuade others to come round to their way of thinking - can this lead to bullying ? After the jurors have listened to both sides of the case shouldn't their decision at the end of judge's summing up be enough - is it right that people are going to spend days being persuaded or persuading others?
He added: “Football fans should be angry about this investigation because it shows the entire vulnerability of the English football system to funds from dubious origins and unsuitable owners for their clubs.” Says it all really about our situation and the fact the defecto owner of the club is registered to some strip mall office in the USA……
I've done jury service and on one case we spent a couple of hours to reach a verdict. There was no bullying or coercion, we all stated why we came to our decision and then voted again. We convicted on a 10 to 2 majority.
