    I was all for Butterfield signing for us but he’s been dreadful this game. Granted, St Johnstone are ***** and it’s against second best team in the league.

    Played no football for six months, just played four matches in 11 days. Played at Ibrox, played against Celtic. Already scored. 14 tackles and interceptions. 83% pass accuracy. It's great to see him back playing, and that month training here with Martin's 23's has proved invaluable.

    Merry Christmas. Up the Reds.

    Just what we are missing from our midfield Tackles, interceptions,, passes to our players and goals, pity Jacob hasn't just left nursery school so doesn't fit in with the ludicrous signing policy currently in place at Oakwell

    Maybe so, but I'd put money on him getting a few good tackles in for us if we'd have signed him up.

    Gomes and Styles, yes. Not sure on the other two. Scottish football might be poor but it’s physical and neither Benson or Palmer look to have much stomach for a battle.

    Styles away at blackpool was one of the poorest performances ive seen for a centre midfieder all season. No wonder he hasnt played there too much since.
