It's a Derbyshire Wayfarer mate, costs £22.50 for two adults and is valid from Sheffield to Burton, also includes bus travel I believe (never used it on a bus though)

To add to the above, you can get on and off the train where you like.

    Burton.

I seem to remember when we wore it.

I don't think that's still the case, and what it's instead called now.

    Do they still have stores?

    Cheers.

    Yes.

You can buy them in advance from stations other than Sheffield as well now apparently....

In which case you're paying £8.80 over the odds if you're on your own, and £10.15 over if you're with someone else.

Im not arsed, I wasnt trying to score train points. My point was that the wayfarer thingy didnt seem a great deal at £22 from sheffield, when you can go from barnsley, change at sheffield, for £4 more.

Ie im sure there are better deals out there for folk shopping around for the cheapest ticket.

My cost totals include the price of a return from Barnsley to Sheffield. It's £5.20 for a day return to Sheffield and £11.25 for your wayfarer so you'd pay £16.45 in total (assuming you're travelling with someone else). Alright you only save £9.95 not £10.15 but still ha.

    Ten minutes into burton.
Turn right out the station and first ale house is about 40 yards away.

OMG. Are you even for real bro?

Obviously a joke at my own expense for not reading the OP properly.

I await your apology for the personal insult. PM me if you're too embarrased to post publicly.
