Towards the end I think some of the old Mcgeehan came back, we need it to. I can't understand how only a week without football for the pair of then can have had this effect.

Didn't help that we lumped so many high balls to Brown. He's not strong in the air.

Lots of lazy football today in that respect.

It’s one of Browns strength, heading like. He wins more than his fair share.

He just can’t beat a man and sometimes his touch lets him down.

It’s a shame Green isn’t involved because he’d be in if it was my decision.

Thiam isn’t a centre forward either.

The non event of the transfer window has belted us flush in the face.

Green could have been good today as Brown's replacement....they were knackered after 50 minutes and needed stretching, his pace could have been very interesting.

He's not strong in the air against centre backs.

Ok, but well below how he was before the ban. You'd think a fortnight's rest would have the two of them champing at the bit, but both seemed out if it.

Unfortunately for McGeehan and Mowatt yesterday, Burtons midfield were chomping at the bit for the same reason. They hadn't played for a couple of weeks.

Burton looked jiggered to me but they did set up very well.
