I'm almost past caring although I will be there tomorrow for the lads not the owners who have put us in this position. With the worst penny pinching window ever. Let's just bring him back.
Cant decide but I'd enjoy watching 451 with woodrow at the top and halme hoofing balls to him.... sexy football
To be fair hecky got to keep his promotion side for 6 months cryne cashed in on winnall and conor (who he bought with his own money) as they only had 6 months remaining. This lot sold potts for peanuts with 2 year remaining and the our top scorer with 4 days of the window left for 3 million..
He's ruled out a third coming. https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/spo...ingbottom-laughs-speculation-linking-17102204
Not a chance do I want him back here. Although I too will be there tomorrow for the lads, however the owners can get out now for all I care.
Hecky must have learnt from his experiences at Leeds and in Scotland, he is no pushover and Barnsley is his club. I woiuld take him back Im sure he would give us some stability and stand up to the owners.I would suggest for them reasons he wouldnt get offered the job.
I can recall listening to an interview with Hecky after he had left and in that interview I picked up on him on 3 different occasions during his career at BFC, that he was walking unless things changed, once was when he was an under something coach, once before he became coach and the last time when he left. At the time I felt he came across a little bit petulant who had a tendency to throw his toys out the pram. Perhaps it was more him just knowing his own mind and not being a pushover as you say. I would have him back as a coach (HC or which ever), but not as a Manager.
