    If Hecky was a Bradford lad who had taken them to championship and won the jpt. Then gone to Leeds and been sacked we would be saying the same or at least some would.

    If Bradford have players of the calibre of what Hecky had to work with at Oakwell then yeah, it's a good fit.

    If not it's a massive gamble taking on a manager with 10 wins from 46.

    I think several people on here need an urgent medical checkup as they have a severe case of selective amnesia regarding the last 18 months of the man's managerial record across 2 clubs.

    Mate of mine is a Bradford ST holder, reckons their budgets been slashed for next season and before any of this thought they would be bottom half at best, if they get Heckingbottom in I'm having a flutter on them being relegated.

    Which is why he's been linked with Bradford a massive step down from his last job. By the same token you could say you can't just take the last 18 month's and should look at the whole record. His next job is massive for him though I agree, another failure and that would be the overall trend. I dare say who ever we appoint will either be unproven or have a failure on their record.
