An excellent loan signing for them.

 

What a signing that is for Burton. Guessing Isted must be getting moved on now then with his deal

 

Loved Brad. Terrific bloke and one of the best ‘keepers we’ve had, in my opinion.

 

He was excellent for us. He prevented so many teams from actually taking shots by coming off his line. So statistically sometimes it appeared he weren't making as many saves or whatever, but that was because he stopped it before they turned into shots. There was also a statistic saying he conceded every shot on target he faced in a span of around 5 games - what people failed to mention was 3 of them games the only shot on target from opposition was a penalty
I think he's underrated by many on here. Hope he gets back on track

 

I was a big fan of his.

 

I thought he was a very alert and intelligent keeper, who was a good reader of the game.

If he had played in the play off final over isted it would have gone pens.

 

We can't possibly know that, but I do think that Isted should have saved Wednesday's winner.

 

To be fair Isted pulled a couple of decent saves off but he definitely should’ve stopped Windass’s header.

 

Agreed. Would have taken it to pens. Go on further & start Norwood, I think we would've avoided pens and won it before then

 

There's no proof of that lol.
None of us know if that would have happened.
I think Duff made a big call there and maybe the right call. By sticking with Isted, after Collins recovered from his injury.
So effectively, he 'dropped' Collins.

 

In hindsight I think it was a huge mistake. Not that Duff gives a toss. But us not using Collins meant Collins left, and when Duff buggered off, so did Isted. Though I didn't/don't rate him that highly so that didn't bother me, but was gutted about Collins mate.

 

Its all about opinions though Frog.
And although it divided the fans, with obviously more in favour of Collins. I thought he'd made the right call.
It angered me how it turned out though, with Duff and Isted and Collins, all leaving!.

 

Very true mate.
Ive never seen a keeper for us so good at being a sweeper keeper. The amount of attacks he stopped before they had the chance to shoot was ace!

Think his biggest weakness was his near post, but again, I think that was a little overblown too from our fans.

 

Seconded, don't know about him as a bloke but definitely as a keeper!

 

Collins had every right to want to leave, and admittedly I was disappointed for him, how it all ended.
Duff went as well, and then the one that angers me the most, is Isted actually.
On the face of it, he showed no loyalty to the club. It looked like he thought ohh Duff has gone, so I want to go now!.
Unless we didn't offer him anything.
