This is not a reaction to today's poor show don't think he was any worse or better than the rest. How do people feel about him is he that much better than Walton was on plenty of people's short list for championship quality player i just don't see it , what is he really good at to make above the level he's playing at.

He keeps the ball out of the net more than Walton.

Safest hands today were that lad in West Lower. Held a solid clearance despite 2 in front of him ducking at last second. Then showed excellent distribution to keep the game flowing. Granted it was a Bolton player he found, but hey ho.

Prefer Collins over Walton all day long. One thing I will say about Collins though is that he’s definitely no good at saving pens. He’s faced loads for us but I don’t recall him ever stopping one. Some keepers seem to have a presence about them for pens and a knack of reading the taker’s mind. Safe to say that Collins isn’t one of them.

Both good shot stoppers. Colins probably the better at sweeper keeper but his decision making as regards when and how to play out from the back leaves a lot to be desired. Cundy getting plenty of stick today for his part in the 2nd goal but I think much of the dithering by the defenders is caused by the goalies initial pass which is very often to a marked man. Now whilst understand this is often done to pull their players out of position we are so piss poor at it that it becomes an ad v a n tage to them. Cundy, Kitchen and Andersen are all poor at playing it this way even in lg1.

He was very poor for the second goal today, had no business giving Cundy that pass, then just ran around like.a drunk Jack Russell to compound the terrible mistake by Cundy to hand them a goal. I don’t think he’s appreciably better then Walton.

He really messed up for that goal. Keepers are so well protected by refs so he should have made a better fist at grabbing the ball.

That's my thinking if someone came in and offered good money for Collins and that was reinvested in a position we are short in and Walton was made no1 I think the team would be stronger overall.

Routine stop for me, Jeff. The lad could have employed a bit of sh#thousery and lobbed it at Evatt, but no; straight at their winger.

I rate Collins far more highly than Walton. He is very good indeed at judging when to come out of his box to clear danger, he's very good with his feet and never panics, and he's a very good shot-stopper.

Cundy's lack of ability on the ball was responsible for the goal. You say Collins should have "made a first at grabbing the ball", but he had to be careful not to become the second player to be sent off.

In fairness to Collins, the 3 penalties he has faced in the last week were all very well struck into the bottom corner. I don't think any keeper would have saved them.

Yet last 4 head coaches decided to go with Brad. There must be a reason.

Collins is better than Walton in pretty much every aspect of goalkeeping.

I’d be very disappointed to lose Collins. However if we have to raise money I’d maybe sooner lose him than Mads. But we would be much weaker with Walton in goal.

Since his return from injury in September only 6 on target shots haven't resulted in a goal conceded
