heading into last game on sunday week
trying to work out out what's needed to get in the final needs stephen hawking's help!
1 thing is we must beat leicestershire and hope derbs don't beat lancs but after that it's a mind boggler with bonus points and even coming top not guaranteed a final

We pretty much need to win and take a good haul of bonus points and hope that 3 of Somerset, Derbyshire, Worcs and Essex don’t win. The main goal is to get 6 points more than Derbyshire otherwise it’s all academic anyway.

It’s a shame regarding the bizarre format. Northern counties are typically already at a disadvantage due to poorer weather conditions but even more so this year with a reduced number of teams that can qualify.

One of the groups the top 2 play each other. Need em to draw. Us to win. (maximum bonus points) Derbyshire not to win.
No chance miracles don’t happen. :) “Oh, er hold on just a minute”

Shame the rain has ruined it when it was shaping up nicely. I’d keep the format for next year but with more games and maybe winners of each group plus best runner up going into semi finals then the Lord’s final.
