It's now being reported as a lone knifeman attacking people at random over a two hour period. Not terror related, not linked to gangs or any kind of disorder.

Just a few hours ago I read a quote from a witness who said she saw two large groups fighting when someone in the group pulled out a knife followed by someone on the opposite side doing the same.

Just shows how little you can trust eyewitness accounts, the woman was clearly just lying through her teeth.

Id hold fire before suggesting folk are lying about Birmingham.

Theres been a few stabbings over the last couple of weeks with tensions high between rival Asian and Black gangs over turf.

The woman eye witness is not the only one to suggest it was gang related.

Theres very little information about any of it at the minute. Even the suspect...

Although the dibble has linked to the 'Rona....

It might be worth seeing what comes to light , this will be investigated & no doubt the truth will out but jumping to conclusions might be wide of the mark .

The crime commissioner said it was pent up frustration due to lockdown and was inevitable! I’ve not felt like stabbing folk ( well I have but in a different context).

Crime commissioner, what a great idea to introduce politics and elected bureaucrats into the police, works so well in America......
