I don't understand how they're so unhealthy. There's nowt to em. They must put sugar in the bread.

Because there isn't any goodness in them. A token bit of lettuce and the rest is pretty much fat and sugar. White bread is high carbs which is effectively a sugar.

The one thing I don't get are the queues you see at the Drive-Thru restaurants. Queuing out of the car park near us. It's only burger and chips. Oh, and the use of the slang phrase Maccy Dees should be punishable by death.

Is there actually any chicken on those burgers for them to be able to sell them at 99p and still make some profit?

I've not eaten at a McDonalds for probably at least a decade but it seems their menus get cheaper over time! The Ikea of the food world!

Unfortunately yes, due to the horrific way the chickens are 'produced' on an industrial scale.

I don't know if they've changed it (i very much hope so), but much of their cheaper chicken products didn't have much in them that could be classed as "meat"
