[BFC SITE] Team News | Reds vs Manchester United U21s

The teams are now in ahead of our Bristol Street Motors Trophy Group F opener against Manchester United U21s this evening.

Ben Killip returns to the starting lineup between the sticks, and Conor McCarthy makes his first competitive appearance for the Reds in nine months. 15-year old Oliver Wilkinson also makes his professional debut for Barnsley in defence.

Vimal Yoganathan makes his second start of the season for the Reds, partnered by Jonathan Bland, who makes his first senior start. Josh Benson also returns to the side, making a competitive appearance for the first time since last November.

In terms of options on the bench, Jackson Smith, Connor Barrett, Bayley McCann and Luke Alker all have the possibility of making their competitive Barnsley debuts, with the latter three potentially making their professional debuts in the process.
