[BFC SITE] SIMPSON STOPS ZUCCO TO WIN EUROPEAN TITLE

Barnsley's Callum Simpson stopped Italian Ivan Zucco in front of a packed crowd at Oakwell on Saturday evening.


Live on Sky Sports and around the world, local hero Simpson claimed the European title in front of his own fans with a tenth-round stoppage.

Despite being knocked down twice by Zucco, Simpson showed true Yorkshire grit to come back and claim victory to maintain his unbeaten record.

A jubilant Oakwell crowd celebrated with Callum and his family in the ring following the fight.
