[BFC SITE] Reds draw Sheffield United in Carabao Cup

Our 24/25 Carabao Cup second round opponents have now been confirmed.

The Reds will host fellow South Yorkshire outfit Sheffield United at Oakwell, to be played on 26 or 27 August.

Darrell Clarke’s men secured entry into the second round by defeating Wigan Athletic last night in a penalty shootout victory at the Brick Community Stadium, with debutant goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina saving two penalties, after a 1-1 draw capped off by a headed goal from the returning Donovan Pines.
