Barnsley Football Club is pleased to announce that our U21s team will take on Ipswich Town in the Professional Development League at Oakwell on Tuesday 17th September, with kick-off scheduled for 12pm.

The match will take place at Oakwell Stadium, with the East Stand lower tier open, and we encourage all fans to attend and support the young Tykes as they continue their development under the tutelage of former Reds defender, Nicky Eaden and Tom Harban.

    Important Matchday Parking Information:

Please be aware that several parking arrangements will be in place on the same day due to additional activity happening at Oakwell. Here’s everything you need to know:

    Man Utd Coaches Parking Plan:

Coaches for the Manchester United event will arrive at Oakwell via Beevor Court at 3.30pm and will park in the East Stand Car Park, which will be closed to all other traffic. Departure from the ground will be at 4pm via Beevor Court.

To ensure smooth parking operations, supporters travelling on these coaches should park in the lane corresponding to their coach number. For example, if you are on Coach 1, please park in Lane 1, and so on.

Full information on coach travel can be found here.

    Academy Match Parking:

Spaces will be reserved in the South Stand Car Park specifically for those attending the U21s match against Ipswich Town.

    Key Notes:

    • The East Stand Car Park will be closed to all other traffic, except for Manchester United coaches.
    • All other matchday parking for the U21s fixture will be in the South Stand Car Park
    • No other vehicles will be permitted into the East Stand Car Park on the day of the game.

We appreciate the cooperation of all supporters and visitors in adhering to these arrangements to ensure a safe and efficient matchday experience.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to Oakwell on Tuesday!
