Oakwell is often a couldren of noise as Albert and Maureen tuck into a bag of boiled sweets in the west upper. ;)

Joking aside I know plenty will find them annoying. Barnsley and “introduce new ideas” doesn’t often sit together.

It's not a question of resistance to new ideas. I'm all for new ideas, but not this one. I suspect they are coming but I, for one, will be leaving mine jammed down the side of the seat. When you see them being used on tv it reminds me of a load of Regency ladies fanning themselves. Is that really how we see an Oakwell crowd?:)

The only thing needed to generate an atmosphere is decent, exciting football on the pitch. No artificial stimulii required.
