Just had a look at the latest odds and looks like things have changed ever so slightly after yesterdays presser as Warnock has swapped places with JFH and now at 8/1 after being 7/2.

But just seen that Chris Beech is now showing at 12/1 ? Left Carlisle Oct 2021 seems quite random to me.

More interesting to me is that Derby are 10/1 to win League One and 3/1 to be promoted with Hills. I don't understand why they would be longer than Ipswich and Wednesday. Kirchner's takeover is going ahead subject to the sale/ long lease of the ground going ahead and Rooney will then stay. I make them clear favourites to win the league.

Interesting to see that everyone on Victors list has had experience of the English leagues.
We’ve not appointed many like that recently

Listening to Khaled in the presser talking about "Jimmy" and "Duff" my money would be on Jimmy

Are Derby still under a transfer embargo. ? And are they still in administration ?
If so. they can't offer new contracts or sign new players.

My understanding of it is that the administrators have sanctioned the sale, which I think will allow them to offer new contracts, including to players whose contracts have run out and who Wazza wishes to keep.

    After much tinternet searching.
Only thing I can find out. Is they are hoping for it to be over today. (Takeover was supposed to happen yesterday) they will still have outstanding debts eg transfers, wages etc. . So I don't know if that will remove the embargo.

Used to be Keith Hill's assistant at Rochdale and that should be enough of a reason for him not to be in the running
