I think Hull have got better with their signings of Angus MacDonald and Harry Wilson. They haven't lost anyone and therefore can see them improving. Wilson is a very good player.

Sunderland have also brought in a couple of top players but have lost N'Dong and Grabban. Fletcher is as good as Grabban but he's not match fit. They haven't brought in a central midfield replacement for N'Dong or the injured Gibson so they could potentially worse off.

Chris Martin and Tommy Elphick are top signings for Reading so they won't have an issues regarding a relegation battle.

Wednesday haven't improved or lost so they'll be a similar side.

We've definitely gained. McBurnie would get into any team in this league on his day as would Mahoney. Yes, Harvey Barnes is a big loss but Mahoney isn't far off that quality. Despite MacDonald going, I do think Mills is as good and will add experience we need.

QPR have lost squad depth and haven't replaced so that could well be an issue. The same with Birmingham. They've lost a couple of solid squad players and haven't replaced them.

Burton have lost a couple of very good loan players but also gained with experience in Darren Bent. Yeh he's probably not match fit but he'll score a handful.

    Best to worst:
    1. Reading
    2. Us
    3. Hull
    4. Sunderland
    5. Wednesday
    6. Burton
    7. QPR
    8. Birmingham

Don't forget Bolton, with Madine going they've left themselves wide open for the drop

Oh yeh, **** forgot about them.

Didn't realise Madine had gone as well. Did they bring in a replacement?

They resigned Zach Clough from Nottingham Forest

Agree Madine is a loss to them, but Flanagan and Clough are both good signings

I'm happy with what we got and to be honest I don't give a toss what the other teams have done, we still need 8 More wins and it's in our own hands I only hope these new players will see us over the line.

Says in today's Mirror that Swansea signed Andy Yiadom for £2 million.
    Yet more lazy journalism.!

Let's hope that's an end to the clamour for and expectation of silly money being splashed about. It was never going to happen with a consortium who were attracted by our business model.

We've supposedly still spent a bit this season though (under Cryne and the new lot). Not much under £6 million.

To be honest, until reading Twillo's post I didn't have a clue who had signed for anyone apart from those joining/leaving us.
