    1. 1997-98 Premier League 19th 35 points
    2. 1996-97 Championship 2nd 80 points
    3. 1921-22 Division 2 3rd 52 points (= 74 points on 3ppw)
    4. 1914-15 Division 2 3rd 47 points (= 69)
    5. 1999-00 Championship 4th 82 points
    6. 1912-13 Division 2 4th 45 points (= 64)
    7. 2020-21 Championship 5th 78 points
    8. 1913-14 Division 2 5th 45 points (= 64)

    Hope I've read that right. Ignored the 1912 FA Cup Win and the wartime finishes. And some will argue that lower league finishes were actually better seasons. But it ranks as some achievement from Big Val and the boys!

    96/97 for me played some fantastic football that season beating some so called big clubs.Late 60s and early 70s was good or was that just my youth days taking over.
