Terrible news for the young lad. Hopefully, he makes a full recovery.

    Bugger. That's unfortunate.

Hopefully he can recover more quickly than expected, and get a couple of games in at the end of the season once we are safely in mid-table.

That must be devastating for him having made such a breakthrough last season.

I’m not a Ben Williams fan - principally because I don’t think he’s good enough yet for Barnsley.
But he’s a young player that will improve.
And even as a young lad he would get in most lower league sides.
In saying that - he’s a professional footballer, he’s also one of our own, so we all wish him the best.
    Top lad.

Bloody hell thats terrible luck. Really hope he makes as swift a recovery as possible, played a big part in keeping us up post-lockdown.

He didn't play a big part in us staying up, spent most of his time on the bench post - lockdown he did play 45 mins at Stoke. Sorry for him as nobody deserves a serious injury. Hope he comes back stronger but think he isn't a Championship defender

I might be getting him confused with his namesake, Jordan Williams.

Hope he recovers soon, it must be awful to know you can't play for the best part of the season, if not all the season.

Hope he recovers well. Looked half decent at times in the promotion season although a bit impetuous( although who can forget that tackle away at P'boro from memory which set us up for goal). Think he may still make a decent player but needs some experience around him.

That off the line clearance at Walsall when it was still 0-0 and we were getting hammered was one of the defining moments of the 2018-19 season for me.

Good luck Ben, hope we'll see you playing again soon.

Gutted for the lad. I'm a big fan of Ben, I think he's our most underrated player. I hope he can come back and that this doesn't hamper his career.
