Those dreaded smart phone spoilers. I get alerts on my phone from Coral and Racing Post saying great win for such and such a horse. Your heart sinks straight away knowing you haven't backed it.
The party starts tomorrow on the way to Bristol.. then the party gets better in the away end on sat. Can’t wait man
Hope so cos son wanted us to gsgevour season ticket seats. I assumed higher up would ge a better view.
The blight of front seats is that before and during the game, the self indulgent and selfish among our fan base, completely choose to disregard the fact that fellow fans have paid to watch the warm up and the game but still insist in jumping up and remain standing for long periods, meaning the view is blocked for folks in the rows behind them. You only get a stare or abuse if you politely ask them to sit down and the Doyle Security personnel don't do anything if complaints are made to them. People need to realise, that some of our supporters are elderly and have disabilities that mean they can't stand for prolonged periods. The other thing that frustrates fans, are supporters taking up their seats after the game has kicked off. They arrive with their Pukka Pies, sausage rolls and Bovril/ tea/ coffee and then have a discussion as to who is going to sit in which seat or as witnessed at the Shrewsbury game, hold an arguement with other fans who after waiting in the gantry until they see which seats are not occupied, had been guided to the front by the Steward and then only then having to move to eventually accommodate the clearly inebriated latecomers. Fans round me were up and down like a brides nightie all afternoon every time those in front of them jumped up.
Realise that MT. I haven't ever been to a beam back. When we are attacking or have a near miss are we confident that no one leaps up out of their seat.? I would be very surprised if they don't, plus if and when we score or it's announced that Luton are losing and we are winning, they'll be up and down like Meerkats.
