Really entertaining game though once again our weaknesses were there for all to see but let’s concentrate on the positives. Both wingers were very good and Bland and Kelly in central midfield looked made to play together.

Cleary for me. Another eye catching display. A bit of shooting practice and we will have a really good player.

Special mention to Kelly who looks a real
    Prospect.

I agree with all of that. I thought Russell also played well. He oozes class.

I went for Kelly, but if he had gone off instead of Bland, I’d have been giving it to Bland. I thought they were both excellent. Clearly not far behind. We seem to have signed some very good players this summer. Keep hold of what we have (if one of the better players has to be sold, make it Russell, as he’s the one that’s out of contract next summer), bring in a decent centre back, hopefully one with pace, and a couple of strikers, and my bet on us winning promotion might just pay out.

I love Jon probably my favourite player. All the technical ability in the world. If he had the athleticism he would be playing at a higher level.

Cleary for me, closely followed by Kelly. Fantastic performances.

Russell on the ball is excellent. But his mobility lets him down. Their first goal from the corner, instead of brutishly getting rid off it, he nonchalantly just turns his body and the ball just goes past him. Extremely poor from both him and Cooper. But he's some talent when he has the ball at his feet. What a great headache Conor has!

Cleary. If ever there was a no brainer this it. I cannot recall a Barnsley player pulling two defenders on him whenever he had the ball

Cleary caught the eye with energy. Bland stole the show in just an hour with composure, class and some fantastic passing. Time to make room for him.

Cleary hands down for me I felt Russell was playing to impress, and think he'll play a part on Saturday. I like Vickers but they gave him an easy ride and acres of space, he'll not get that against better opposition.
