A entertaining if somewhat routine victory marred by Keifers injury.

From radio commentary it seemed as though Cavare had a great game.

Only seen the goals but I'm voting Moore, brave as a lion every game just a real shame he's come off badly in this one.

Everyone had a decent game and as no one stood out as having a better game than everyone else, like Mowatt did last week, I'm going for Pinillos

Thought Pinillos was outstanding, Cavare helped hugely with brown in front of him

Our defence was a little fortunate yesterday, as Gillingham failed to put away 3 excellent goalscoring chances.
In the Gillingham report (https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2019/february/barnsley-report/) they say,
"The Gills fought back with Hanlan and Burke doing well to keep the ball in on the byline before the ball dropped to Byrne but Barnsley got back to make a crucial block."
They're referring to fantastic cover from Alex Mowatt there & not our defence.
The score should have been something like 3-6, so I'm a little surprised how many votes have been going Cavare's way.

I thought a better reflection of the game the score should have been 1-8. No joke, but the only downside to us at the minute is the inability to put the chances away, lets hope this doesn't come back to haunt us. We had at least 8 clear cut chances yesterday

We absolutely hammered them for bid periods of time. We could have easily scored 7 or 8.

Struggling with this one (in a good way) but I think Jacob just gets it. In addition to his goal, he got us on our way by creating the first and was a constant thorn in their side throughout.

It really wasn’t close as a contest, hit the bar, 2 one on ones, Thiam curled past post, and a clever drag back before he had his shot saved, McGeehan hitting wide, Moore hot two shots straight at keeper and a brown flick header going just over.

10 would literally not have been flattering

I think you should do the right thing and report Mcgeehan to somebody higher up at the club. He's been doing crack with supporters and hitting his wife. Disgraceful behaviour

I agree with what should have been, but 2 or 3 excellent chances were missed by us before they headed over the bar from close range (much simpler than the one they converted, so we can settle on 2-8 ).

According to the stats, they had two shots on target. One the goal - can't remember the other one, so must have been a soft shot straight at Davies. Then you are right they had an effort when they headed over. Can't remember much else they did, so to "give them" 2 or even 3 goals would be extremely flattering.

Edit - just remembered their other shot on target - 1st half Eaves shot & Davies tipped round for a corner
