    about 5 people dead and 50 badly injured in a tram crash in Croydon.
    Ah well, never mind eh.
    At least the previous half hour told us what we really wanted to know.

    Yes RIP to those unfortunate people and I hope the injured recover fully. This should of course be the lead story on the news, given proper coverage from a reporter near the crash site, before THEN turning to the many news presenters dotted around the globe giving reaction to the US election. But then priorities with regard to news coverage seldom seem to matter.
