    Noticed the gaps in the home crowd for a high profile game .
    Due to the aftermath of the miners strike , pre miners strike it would have been shoulder to shoulder for such a game .

    There was a bloke who used to stand near us who was always shouting 'Goodison, come and stand with us'. Sometimes it was from his first touch of the ball.
