    Hi guys been looking online to find out more information about Barnsley rugby league team. Anybody follow them on here. What league are they in etc.

    Barnsley RL club were going in the 80s/ 90s based at Farm Road WMC Kendray. Not sure when it finished but remember Dodworth having a team as well

    I'm not sure one exists given I can't find dates. The couple of clubs around. folded years ago it appears (Hoyland Vikings and Dodworth. See below) . But a rugby union team exists.

    Try this. It may help. If in existence. Appears to be a rugby league set up.

    Dearne valley bulldogs based at ings lane Bolton on dearne are doing quite well it seems, lots of community engagement, just built there own club house after ings lane sports and social club closed

    My mate has just confirmed that he used to play for Dodworth league team in the 70’s.

    He used to play for Barnsley RU on a Saturday and then Dodworth RL on Sundays ( under a false name )
