Wow wow wow. From 2-40pm till 5pm they never stopped singing, i personally lost my voice as well. What a great away atmosphere they created which defo ignited the boys on the pitch to absolutely out play a very very good side. Simple, if we get behind em they give that xtra 15%. My mom was pinnock and lindsey who were superb. Moncur was like a caged animal, just hope moore is not too bad. You reds.
Can't our Eticketing website for away tickets, be like when people order for home games or our Oakwell South trips? People didn't seem to mind yesterday standing for the whole game because the stand is a tip. But surely we can update it so when people order away tickets they have to pick a specific seat to order? That way those who want to stand can pick towards the back and the sitters towards the front. It would make things a whole lot easier and help with the away end atmosphere having all the standers together. It would be a better system than now where when you order you don't know where you're going to be until tickets arrive.
We were right down at the front and the leg room was terrible. Worse I've seen since the side stand at Millmoor. It was probably more comfortable standing than sitting. How are they allowed to charge for something that's not fit for purpose? I know the home fans were in there as well, but they weren't full like us, and could spread out a bit. Lovely new stand to to our left which was largely empty.
I don't understand why we weren't given the stand behind the goal which Portsmouth had. There's no way that we said we couldn't sell 2,500 tickets.
Someone said yesterday that it was down to the slowish sales at the start. Must admit, unless the club advertise the game as all ticket from the beginning, I always look on the football league grounds guide to see how many the enclosure holds and decide whether I need to rush or not. I don't believe that Barnsley Fc would do a Don Rowing, and predict that there wouldn't be demand considering our excellent support up to now, and I don't believe the tale of Peterborough offering the whole stand or nothing. I don't know how long the tickets were for sale, but had we sold out the 1700 within days, I reckon they'd have been rubbing their hands together and offering more.
I felt a bit for the young lad and lass in there when it started getting busy. Some of our lot revel in being drunken cave men.
Absolutely brilliant to think that 20% of the crowd at yesterday's game were there supporting the Reds. Respect to every one of them.
I sat with my friend, who is quite small, on the front row. There were only the disabled spaces in front of us. My friend missed 2 of the 4 goals because of people standing in front of her.
