The other week when the 2000/4000 depending on what tier we are in, I seem to remember something about a deadline for applying to be considered for getting in. I would have expected some further communication from the club, I’m expecting we could move to Tier 2 in a few weeks. Anyone know owt ?
Hey up George. Update last week . Notify the club from tomorrow your intentions. Create a bubble so to speak numbering 1-6 people. Games polled on a ballot basis. As I understand it. Taking it in turn. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2020/november/covid-update/
Nice one I had a look through my emails and couldn’t find anything from club but had 2nd or 3rd as deadline rather than start in mind for some reason.
Website not particularly intuitive, is there a form? Do they just want an email? Do the members of the family bubbles have to live at the same address? Edit: I'm a numpty, didn't read it properly. Functionality appears tomorrow, not you have to notify before tomorrow.
You aren't a numpty. But that article was posted last week, when the news broke that fans were soon to be returning. As it states, from tomorrow, on the eticketing website you'll be able to provide consent to be included in ballots, and create your bubbles. When selected, you'll be given a digital ticket to attend a game. There will also - as stated - be further info and guidance. It's a crazy, fluid situation and the club is working hard to make it work. But of course, until the dictators take us out of tier three, it's just planning at this stage. Based on what I've heard so far tonight from other clubs, it's been a tough gig. But hey, this year keeps on throwing up challenges. Fingers crossed!
You aren't pal. It'd confuse me as well. It still does. This year has! There'll be more on the process tomorrow I believe.
We'll come out of tier 3 in a couple of weeks. Believe!! Fingers crossed for fans in the ground on Boxing Day. Will be fantastic for those selected.
When you're allowed back in will the match keep buffering? If so I'm not going. I'll continue to buffer from home. Thanks.
So what's the deal? You have to be sat with people who are either in your household or bubble? Not being able to sit with my mates sounds awful, just sitting on my own in a mask is a depressing thought. Probably still go because I've missed it so much.
I'm a bit camera shy. Not sure I fancy being zoomed in on for the home audience. Although I suppose the face mask will preserve some anonymity and prevent the lipreaders from spotting me when I abuse the referee.
