Rather subdued I thought, perhaps it was the pressure of a must not lose game getting to the fans as well. When the Ponty got in full voice it was great. As for the Owls, and for a set of fans that pride themselves in being loud, well shall we say it was far from that. For most of the game it was non-existent
I was in the Ponty and it was brilliant all game as far as I'm concerned. Must have been just around where I was.
For a lunchtime kick off don't think atmos from Barnsley fans was too bad - it went flat in the second half, but then so did the game, Wednesday fans were a joke for such a big away following, had more noise from 200 charlton fans on a Tuesday night.
Good to see a player speaking their mind, but our 13 months of form has killed it. Embarrassing IRA chants don't help.
Harsh, unless he meant the Fowls fans, who were quiet. I thought our lot were loud enough, especially first half.
The youth of today use ‘joke’ differently. He’ll mean it as been ridiculously good. E.g ‘them 4 goals Aguero’s just scored were a joke’
Do you sit with @JLWBigLil? I have seen him in the Ponty, and it was pretty loud in that vicinity of the stand for most of the game. NB: I am not a stalker. I just happened to see him. Writing this is awkward!
Nope, I sit about 5 rows back just to the right of the goal. It honestly seemed quite loud there especially in the first half. I even got tempted to join in at one point with the Oli McBurnie song!
I honestly didn't realise that. I did think it was a bit harsh after scoring on his debut and getting his own song. Good lad!
Good atmosphere first half, flat second half. Good game first half, flat second half. Crowd noise level tends to mirror the game.
