not sure on the deets, but I think it sounds something similar to what happened at rochdale, i.e. securing funding from potential investors before they had been approved. they got a suspended 6-point deduction. however it was only a couple of years ago that brum got docked 9 points, so the authorities might just throw the book at them on principle.
Nope! It'll be a suspended points deduction, and they'll have just about enough points to finish 4th bottom. They've been on the brink of league 1 for years Birmingham, and always just seem to sneak out of it. In the last 6 seasons, they've scored less than 54 points in the league. This season seems likely to be the same. In another season, the points totals they've put out have been enough for relegation. They got 46 points in 17/18 which is 9 less than what Peterborough were relegated with a few years before.
I dunno. Be lovely to see some of the so called bigger clubs like Birmingham and Cardiff go down. If we were to go up our budget and chances or survival would be put in with the likes of a Wigan or Blackpool.
With a game in hand though, they're on best form of the bottom 9 other than Cardiff in last 6 games... most of which thankfully have been draws though! Looking really tight at the bottom! I'd love for Rotherham to stay up
They played well until Sunderland scored the other night and then were hanging on for grim death. Got lucky with Sunderland having the late leveller ruled out for a foul on the keeper. Great win for them that though. They needed it with Huddersfield winning and having Neil Warnock. I think Huddersfield will stay up.
