Well don't. The town will be closed off from 4am for more cyclists. The peloton doesn't come through until 11am. How much is this nonsense costing the economy?
Weigh up the benefits. Think of the cost saving to the NHS if just a handful of obese folk take up cycling off the back of it. I'll leave that out there. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
I thought you were going to announce a beer festival there! Wishful thinking. Especially as tomorrow is a Tuesday.
Do you know, I was just thinking I'll sack off work and go to Congleton tomorrow. Don't think I'll bother now. Might go to Immingham instead. Or Retford.
I'd suggest Spalding myself for its balmy tropical climate and a chance to have intellectual discourse with the Spalding intelligentsia.
Even within the wilds of Lincolnshire, the Spalds are derided as being a particularly backward bunch of carrot-crunchers with webbed toes.
well, I avoided Congleton, went to Tatton Park instead, crammed full with cycling fans, brilliant...and Stannard winning in such great style was the icing on the cake, same at Kendal yesterday, but in the Lakes we welcome visitors and their money...helps the local economy...and just to be a pedant..the peloton didn't go through Congleton, the stage started there, bringing in more money.....
it probably had no bad impact on the economy infact i bet it made things better for them hours roads where closed and if you had to go through or near then set of earlier, i dont see anything bad from cycling
