With a number of players leaving us how much will we save on wages (If we ever pay them). Think Joey and Hutch will stay

Not sure whether these are correct so if you know please add

    Rhodes £40,000

    Westwood £30,000

    Lees £25,000

    Reach £25,000

    Kachunga £15,000

    Harris £15,000

    Brown £15000

    Van Aken £15,000

    Marriott £10,000

    Shaw £8000

    Penney £8000

    + Youth players

    Total £210,000 per week approx x 52 = £10,920,0000
How much would we pay the new players
    say 11 x £10, 000 = £110,000x 52 = £5, 720,000 or less

He/she has not included wages of those still under contract.
At the mo according to an article. For 2021. Close to £20m per year on players wages £380k pw
Mind boggling. So £20m to £15m according to his/her calculations for next season.

Salary caps have been removed but I believe the 60% limit of income/expenditure on players wages is still in place. I’m not sure if there’s a ruling for recently relegated teams.

The wages are that high that if nobody out of contract gets a renewal they probably still have to get rid of a few.
