Not been much on here about him. Thought he was solid tonight, potential MOTM, a couple of defensive slips but ran himself into the ground going forwards and gave Villa a few problems. This lad was playing 2 levels lower last year, 3 levels lower in 14/15

Couple of mistakes but on the whole very athletic and solid. 7.5/10

    Looks like a great signing

I agree he was my MOTM. Reckon he could have done better with the goal but I'll decide that when I see it again.

Agree , think he's a real find. The Chronicle have referred two weeks running to his 'nightmare' 'harrowing' debut at Ipswich, I thought he was one if our best players, gave the pen away but the player was looking for it , and was our main outlet going forward. Puts a shift in , will only get better

Aside from their goal he had another very good game. He's been a quality signing so far.

When I opened this thread I thought it was going to say what a poor game he had . Probably at fault for their goal and gave the ball away too often . It's all about opinions I suppose . Saying that I thought Kpekawa had a decent game in contrast to many other fans thoughts.

I thought Roberts was more at fault that Yiadom for the goal. Roberts should have doubled up to support Yiadom but just stood next to Davies. Villa were doubling up when we attacked down the flanks. When Hammill came on there were 4 Villa defenders on him and Kpekawa on one attack. Kpekawa did well too for winning the corner that led to the goal and the assist but Yiadom was my MOTM.

Someone called Yiadom a waste of space on a fb page yesterday and another said he isn't up to this league. For me he has been one of the stand out players and hasn't looked at all lost at this level - feel we have a real gem on our hands and he can only get better

Yidom has been a great find so far. Someone on here was writing him off after one game v ipswich. What people don't seem to grasp is you have to give people abit of time. He has been great last few games I've seen him. Last night 1st half one of there lads got into box near byline. I was thinking they are in here yids got in between him and the ball then turned the player and passed it out of defence was class. He can cross a ball too that lad. So far so good from what I have seen.

I'm pleased the club persisted with their interest in the lad, after failing to get a deal for him over the line the previous Summer. As with all our players, there'll be occasions when he'll make mistakes, until he truly finds his feet at this level and strikes a higher level of consistency. I believe he's made a very good start to his Barnsley career. The talent is there for all to see and, in my opinion, he's well worth his place in the team.

Needs to stop with playing the ball back into central defence all the time and also have more confidence to get crosses in. These failings cost us goals at brighton and v villa.

Overall thoigh hes done well and hes learning.
