    Totally inconclusive though. Doesn't say anything other than there was an attack. No suspicion or insinuation. Not really a story at the moment

    Certainly plenty of insinuation! L'Equipe announced that she was taken into custody amid allegations of attempting to physically injure Hamraoui to eliminate her in competition for places! Pretty crazy and unprecedented stuff, whether true or not. Further twist is that apparently they're friends and have even been on holiday together. Then there's a French paper claiming some anonymous calls that were made about Hamraoui to other players originated from a prison where someone close to Diallo is incarcerated.

    Ah well if you put it like that.... I just read the article quoted and it looked bland. Just shows what a bit of knowledge and/or incomplete reporting can lead the public to assume. Thanks.

    When I saw the title of the OP I thought it was a new name in the frame for our HC , still might be , she would certainly put some fight into the team !
