Just wondering, with the clubs policy/criteria for all ticket matches. What if new a prospective fan wanted to attend the match but didn't know anyone with a season ticket willing to buy them a ticket? Basically seems a bit bizarre that they would not be allowed a ticket just in case they are an away fan. Clubs policy is that they must have been registered on the clubs database since the start of season and have a previous booking history, otherwise they can toddle off. Now I know that we won't have too many all ticket matches this season but seems a bit restrictive. I would have thought just having a Barnsley address would have been slightly fairer. Fair enough run the risk that they may be closet Newcastle fans but they are not likely to kick off against their own townfolk and to be fair neither are the majority of supporters from any club. Not that it bothers me, I'll be sat there come rain or shine.
I'd expect that if you could prove a Barnsley address then you should be able to get a ticket (I don't think is the case but would be a reasonable expectation).
I would expect a sensible conversation during which you might be able to get one ticket, but perhaps asked where you were v Fulham, in a light touch way...
