For those who mocked him last season...... he’s scored 5 from 9 games so far in League 1 this season. Great return for a 37 year old.

Fair play to him - class never leaves you.

For his age and lack of mobility, he’s relying on instinct than anything else.

 

And his brute strength.

To be fair though, most of the stick he took was in response to a certain posters insistence that he could do a job for us.

In League 1, he can still do a job, as proved. Although over a full season I’m not sure. Certainly great to have someone like that though to at least come off bench.

No chance in Championship though, and to be fair I don’t think he’s ever cut it at that level either regardless of age.

 

Has that penalty at the Millennium Stadium come back to earth yet?
