I agree Helen, seems a strange decision with 10 games to go and I’m sure even Pep couldn’t get those players to perform.
I'm guessing the change is to hope the new manager syndrome keeps them out of relegation zone and allows a new manager to asses the players capability and mindset before a rebuild in summer. It might be a helpful move for us looking at teams they play.
Birmingham have form for it. Remember when they sacked Rowett whilst in the Play-off places and replaced him with Gianfranco Zola, who proceeded to win just 2 in 24. They sacked him with about 4 games left if I remember right, and gave Harry Redknapp the job of keeping them up.
Lots of owners/boards just don't keep their nerve. Many are as fickle as fans. No long term view by the looks of it to me
