    Strange signing for us and never worked out. His record before we signed him wasn't good. Coming from Celtic hyped him. He never did much for us and struggled to establish himself. Whatever the fee is won't have covered what he's cost the club in wages.

    I think the context of his personal circumstances over Christmas is relevant here and so an understandable move and supportive from the club.
