Not sure what’s gone off, but there’s been a lengthy exchange between Andy Holt and supporters on Twitter.
He’s announced the club is up for sale. Sad to see one of the nicer clubs go through turmoil.

Just been reading it back. Looks like the manager and assistant manager did an interview on BBC Lancs earlier and raised the subject of new contracts, which seems to be what kicked it all off.

Tricky to follow in full, as it's across various posts/replies, but it's fascinating.

He's been off twitter for a while, but his posts were always fascinating, including posting match by match financial updates at one point. Overall, I think he's been a great owner for them, but the management team are also popular there. It'll be interesting to see how this develops.

I always used to admire Accy for being a decent down to earth club, who are well run with the little budget that they have etc.
That changed a bit though last season when I thought they had turned into a dirty desperate team, in their relegation scrap. And they were lucky as well when you look at our match there, on Boxing day.
I can't say that I was disappointed to see them relegated, to be honest.

It’s just tough all round for them. Clubs like them, Morecambe, Rochdale etc, the gates just aren’t there to sustain league one football against much better resourced clubs. They have to be near perfect with their recruitment & management every season to stay at that level.

They get relegated & they’re just a run of the mill league 2 club at best, they’ve probably got small crowds for that level too & it’s hard to have a go at bouncing back but the problem is all the fan’s expectations have been raised with the overachievement.

Yeah that's what I appreciate Dj, and it's why I've always been sort of on their side, as a neutral.
I liked Jonno Coleman the manager and he gave us great credit when we doubled them, in the Stendel promotion season.
But when a team get dirty in their scrap to stay up, and even more so when they do it against us, that's where I lose respect for them.
