    But Scunny fan at work reckons they had a sell on clause for Winall too. Checked their message board and a couple others mention it on there.

    I didn't expect him to do so well and thought he'd probably drop down the pecking order for Bradshaw anyway this season but the news about Conor is just devastating.

    He is utterly irreplaceable and could be the difference between a good respectable finish or a turgid miserable rest of season.

    Not a great time to be a Barnsley fan with Wednesday supporting mates ...

    In which case they must be feeling pretty hacked off as well about the ludicrous fees we're alleged to have accepted. Imagine how we'd have been feeling if Everton had flogged Stones for £10 million.

    I'd imagine the majority of our recent signings will have sell-on clauses with their previous clubs. It's a pretty common thing in football.
