Just stopped wiping the tears from eyes. Never got emotional about this before and I’m not religious, but as they sang, it dawned on me that it’s the first FA Cup final since my dear dad died in November, he really was an FA Cup traditionalist. Although like me, he really did wish we could have a better National Anthem.
Gets me every time. Used it at my brother's funeral and now it completely wrecks me every time I hear it.
