Coming away from Sunderland after a rare win it felt great. New owners, great start to the new year and seeing how poor Sunderland were and listening to their phone in made it all the better. For the opening part of yesterday's game at Millwall it was a familiar feeling. We had started very brightly and the long run without a win started to feel like a distant memory, until we scored, took our foot off the gas and capitulated. The last 6 days has been absolutely mental online. We've gone from praising a win, a new centre half pairing to build the team around, released a few players and talk of new players coming in to strengthen. Add a heavy defeat and a rumour that Forest are in for Hecky and some imaginations run riot! Does he want away before he is sacked ? Do the new owners want rid? Why haven't the new owners already spent loads of money to back him? He sounds a broken man in his post match interview etc etc. Come on people, the new regime has been in place only a matter of weeks. The window has been open less than a week. For **** sake, take a deep breath, rein yourselves in and let things take their course.
